Our hunts are fair chase with low impact on the environment. Our highest priority is the safety and well being of our clients while providing the adventure and hunt of a lifetime. With fair chase hunts, there will be a lot of hiking and packing sometimes in very steep and dense terrain. We highly recommend our clients come in the best physical condition possible to ensure an enjoyable, safe and successful hunt.
Hunting and fishing have always been Jim’s passion. He grew up in northern New Hampshire. As a kid, he spent as much time as possible in the outdoors fishing, hunting, trapping and building a cabin. In the fall of 1984, he realized his dream of coming to Alaska and has never wanted to live anywhere else. The beauty and wildness of the state and the abundance of fish and wildlife is unmatched. He knew he wanted to become a big game guide in Alaska and make a career of it. He earned an Assistant Guide License in 1990 and in 1994 became a registered guide. As of 2011, he is the proud holder of Master Guide License #192.
